Carol Seymour Speaker Reel

Agility and Resilience

Uncertainty is part of life, and there will be many situations that force us back on our heels. Organizations need leaders with a foundation of personal agility, so they can display leadership agility. The ability to stay ahead of change, initiate action, and focus teams on moving forward requires a high level of personal agility. Carol articulates the “5 Stays” for creating personal agility (stay healthy, stay open, stay connected, stay inquisitive and stay passionate) and the actions anyone can take to increase their agility.

Bring Your A-Game

You may be a top-performing leader, but are you reaching your full
potential to influence and create significant impact? Would others call you inspirational? Could your team’s engagement be higher? Carol shows leaders how to establish the confidence and leadership presence to engage others and show up as a role model that inspires teams to achieve big goals.

Building Relationship Equity

Organizational success is built on relational success. Creating a strategic network and a personal board of advisors ensures that leaders can stay relevant, bring fresh perspectives, and keep their personal biases in check. Carol guides leaders to begin using strategies that fix strained relationships and build relationship equity inside and outside their companies.

Building Your Confidence Muscle

We often don’t feel as though we have enough confidence and sometimes it seems to escape us entirely. Carol leads you through the essentials of enhancing your confidence, likening it to a muscle that grows stronger with regular exercise. Learn how to stretch and strengthen your confidence to meet both personal expectations and leadership demands through the power of consistency in building the confidence needed.

Championing Change Through Sponsorship & Inclusive Leadership

It is measurably proven that providing people with sponsors accelerates their development and ensures they get equitable chances for next-level leadership. Sponsorship is a two-way street, and not an entitlement program. Carol enlightens her audiences with the difference between mentorship and sponsorship and how to earn a sponsor and be a sponsor to others. Sponsors and protégés alike will have new tools for strengthening these relationships and creating impact for one another.

Leading with Authenticity and Trust

Authentic Leadership is mentioned everywhere. Leaders are told to be authentic to build trust because trust is what allows you to lead in times of crisis. But today’s organizations are distributed across many offices, plants, geographies, and cultures. How do you build trust with people you never see face-to face? Carol shows leaders how to identify their unique gifts, and use the building blocks of their expertise, empathy, and personal values to demonstrate authenticity and build trust.

Two Sides of Leadership

Great leaders excel at self-leadership and leading others. Carol provides the keys to effective self-leadership to create greater personal impact and to develop emerging leaders to reach their potential. Following this session, you will walk away with real actions you can take to maximize your own performance and a great approach to taking your mentor relationships to the next level to spark the careers of those behind you.
