Carol Seymour is a sought-after business leader and catalyst for growth. As an executive advisor to businesses and executives around the globe, she has a passion for helping leaders perform at maximum potential in their professions and lives.
She founded the Signature Program in 2013 as a single, targeted development opportunity for senior executives. She has grown the program into a company with multiple levels of development programs and custom workshops.
Carol has interviewed more than 1,000 C-suite executives for their leadership insights. In 2017, she authored the book Wisdom Warriors, a collection of profiles and anecdotes gathered from accomplished women executives. Over 70 contributors shared their personal stories to help pass leadership wisdom to their peers and the next generation.
Carol speaks frequently at female network and industry association gatherings, such as NAPCO, CoreNet, and the California Women’s Banking Association. She also helps companies structure key leadership meetings and acts as a facilitator for the events, including Avery Dennison’s Top 200 event and Walmart’s Executive Women forum.
Prior to starting Signature Leaders, Carol held Chief Marketing Officer and Commercial roles at Accenture, Spherion, MeadWestvaco, and DBM. She has led critical transformations, product/service innovations, and turnarounds in large cap companies, startups, and private-equity backed organizations.
She spent several years building World50, a premier senior executive networking organization, as well as G100, a private CEO network for 200 global CEOs. She also founded G100 Inside, which created CEO strategy and leadership development programs for top executives.
Carol is a founding member of Paradigm for Parity, which is a movement of CEOs, senior executives, board members, and business academics committed to achieving gender parity at the senior levels of all major corporations by 2030. She has also launched the initiative called TWOthroughYOU, which asks leaders to take simple action by sponsoring two high-potential women into next level leadership.
Carol’s family includes her daughter, Paige, and her husband, Santos, who are working on mission in Nicaragua and her son, Rob, and his wife, Michelle, who work as part of the team at Signature Leaders. When she isn’t traveling around the globe to connect and inspire others, Carol enjoys the beauty of living in the mountains near Cashiers, North Carolina.
